My dog ate lubricant, acting strange & trembling. Should I see a vet?

I don't see any reason to be concerned at this point. I checked the ingredients and do not see anything toxic. I suggest you just monitor Petey for now and if you notice any abnormal signs in the next 24 hours then take him to your vet then. I would have Violet seen by a vet. This pencil eye liner could be causing her to be ill, and it could be causing an obstruction or perforation of her intestines. It's best that she is seen by a vet now to diagnose what is causing her symptoms so she can be treated.

If your dog did not eat the actual tube and only the content, there should be no problem as non of these ingredients is toxic. However, there is a possibility that Max may get diarrhea. If that happens, you can do the following: Take your dog off food for about 12 hrs, then feed bland food such as boiled rice with boiled white chicken meat in small quantities over several feeds a day. Do this for a day, then start replacing small quantities of rice with his normal food over the next two days until he is at the normal quantity of his regular food. If the diarrhea does not go away by the end of the third day, or your dog is lethargic and dehydrated,you will need to take your dog to a veterinarian for an exam.

That was naughty of your dog to eat the sample size baby lotion! The good news is that baby lotion typically isn't toxic to dogs, but it could cause some GI upset in the form of vomiting or diarrhea. The concern is the package that the lotion came in. If it came in a plastic bottle, I would be concerned about the bottle getting stuck in her GI tract. In this case, yes I think taking her to the vet would be the best option. The vet can induce vomiting to get the bottle out so there is no chance of obstruction. I would take her into a vet now. If she didn't eat a plastic bottle and you do see some GI signs, I can give you a home remedy that may help. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, she vomits the bland diet, she has diarrhea in the absence of food or on the bland diet, she stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away. A bland diet can be fed in small, frequent amounts until symptoms resolve.
