My dog ate crackers and has diarrhea. Is this a normal upset stomach?

Ingesting large quantity of salt can be dangerous too. As long as Kapono is doing well and he is not showing any worrying symptoms, you should monitor him at home. However, if he develops vomiting, diarrhea, tremors or any other worrying symptoms you should get him checked by your local vets right away.

Bones can dissolve in the stomach with enough time. It sounds like Kyro had a bout of pancreatitis that caused the vomiting and diarrhea. If Kyro is now acting normal, I would continue to feed the bland diet and see what happens. It may take a day or two for there to be enough food ingested to create solid poop. If he stops eating, starts vomiting again, or seems lethargic, he should be re-examined by a vet.

He may have ate something that caused some gastrointestinal upset since he seems to be doing better. Continue feeding the beef and rice for a few days and then transition back to his regular food. If the vomiting and diarrhea persists then he needs to be examined by a vet to determine the cause and treat. Your vet can take an x-ray to make sure he doesn't have an obstruction since there is a chance he ate some socks.

This is not uncommon following new and rich foods and generally will settle down within 3-5days. A probiotic/fiber supplement such as fortiflora alongside a bland diet may help rebalance the gut and monitor closely for any persistent vomiting which may indicate the need for a vet visit and additional treatment

That doesn't look too loose so it may be a random GI upset. keep an eye on it and as long as she is behaving, eating, drinking like she always does then there probably isn't anything to worry about. If she does get sick, please do get her checked by a vet in case there is an underlying problem that is causing her diarrhea.

If he is acting normally and still able to keep water down, you can try monitoring him at home first by withholding food for 12-24 hours. After that time, offer a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken and white rice for a few days, then gradually transition back to his normal diet over another 5-7 days. However, if Buster's vomiting or diarrhea worsen, or if he becomes lethargic and stops drinking, a trip to the vet will be in order to assure that he has not become dehydrated and to get to the bottom of the problem.
