My dog ate a condiment packet and threw it up. Should I worry?

A small amount of ketchup shouldn't harm her at all :) If she consumed the entire packet, including the packaging, there is a small chance that this could cause an intestinal obstruction but usually things like this pass through with no problems. As long as she is eating and drinking, acting normal, and not vomiting, I wouldn't worry. The packet will probably pass through her system and be passed in her stool within the next 2-3 days.

Since he is 30 pound, he will likely be fine but you have two options. You can either take him in now and see if they can make him throw it up. The other options is to start feeding him some high fiber canned food to help him pass it. Your vet may be able to provide you with some if they sell it. If you don't take him in now to get him to throw it up, I would watch him closely for vomiting and not eating. Also, make sure he is having regular bowel movements. If Nova had ingested chocolate or something toxic, I would have expected her to have that in her vomit. The fact that she vomited only kibble and vomited right away is good. Oh no! I don't think any of those ingredients would be toxic. The salsa probably has some onions in it but I doubt there would be enough to be a concern. If Cassidy continues to vomit it would be a good idea to see an emergency veterinarian but otherwise I'd think it would be okay to monitor him.
