My puppy ate asbestos from the shed. Is she safe? Should I worry?

The wood litter typically is not large enough to cause any major problems and if she chewed on them and made them even smaller. Hello. I do not think this will do any harm except for some possible gastrointestinal upset. Since this has been processed, it hopefully is free from bacterial & parasitic contaminants. Just watch Ray for the next few days for any diarrhea. This would be about the only thing that might bother him, but otherwise he should be just fine. I think if you keep Bailey out of the room during the hair dying process, use good ventilation and then do not allow her back in that room until the smell is gone if good enough. I can't imagine her coughing from just smelling your hair so I do not think you need to avoid her. Have a great day!

The concern would be if she ate multiple packets at a time. That can cause severe dehydration. Only one pack is safe. Kisses to Pip!

It could have the potential of hurting her including causing decreased appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. Given she only ate one, it likely won't cause bloody stools and ulcers. You have two options. You can take her into a vet now to have vomiting induced to get it out. Or you can watch her. If you see any of the signs I mentioned above, have her seen by a vet immediately.
