My dog ate an apple core with seeds. Should I be worried about it?

If he swallowed a big piece, since it is harder, there is a small chance it could cause an obstruction before the body breaks it down. Hi, apples seeds in small quantities are not toxic to dogs. They do contain a small amount of a toxin, but he would have to eat many, many seeds in order to have any signs. Your dog should be just fine without inducing vomiting.

Hello. If Pie seems to be fine, then I would not worry. Most times the bone will be easily digested & pass on through. There are 2 concerns with papaya seeds. The first is that they contain very small amounts of cyanide. The amount is very small, so even a small dog would have to eat a large amount of seeds to have any problem with that. The second concern is the possibility of an intestinal blockage if they are not able to pass the seeds. This is certainly a concern in a small dog, so monitor Mondy closely for any vomiting, lethargy or inappetance and have him examined immediately if you notice any of those signs. Good luck! If this is a behavior that you would like to try and stop, you can try a product called Forbid, which can be found online quite easily.
