Is 675mg amoxicillin safe for my 34kg dog's liver and kidneys?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | 1 year and 3 months old

Danny is 34 kg so to treat and heal mouth ulcer does of amoxicillin potassium clavulanate 675 mg for twice a day will be safe ? Or harmful ? Here amoxicillin is 500 mg and potassium clavulanate is 175 mg so giving this twice time daily for 10 days will gonna affect his liver or kidney or causes life threatening in future ?

Hello. The normal dose is 12.5mg/kg, however you can give a higher dose as well, sometimes up to 20mg/kg (however this is usually reserved for very severe infections and given IV). A dose for a 34kg dog would be 425mg - so approximately 500mg, twice daily for 10 days. At this dose his kidney/liver should not be affected.
