Is it normal for my 6-week pregnant dog to have morning sickness?

The greenish liquid is likely bile from vomiting on an empty stomach. Nausea and vomiting can be common in some dogs in the early stage of pregnancy. There are also other more concerning causes of vomiting in dogs, so if it continues or becomes more frequent, I would take her into see her veterinarian as soon as possible. Two possibilities exist here, one she is pregnant or two she is sick. If you are not feeling puppies kicking in her belly and she is puking and acting ill, then she could have a serious condition called Pyometra (spontaneously infected uterus). This will cause swelling of the belly almost overnight and cause the pet to have a fever (> 102.5 degree Fahrenheit rectal temperature), vomit, decreased appetite and lethargy. Yes the occasional vomiting is normal towards the end of pregnancy. The puppies are growing a lot and tend to press on the stomach which activates pressure receptors and this makes the dog vomit. If your dog is lethargic, however, or otherwise appears ill, you will need to take her to your veterinarian for an exam as she may have an infection or other gastro-intestinal problem.

You should expect to see belly growth when pregnant, but every dog carries differently. The only way to know for sure if Diamond is pregnant is to have her seen by a vet, and I'd take her into one today if she is vomiting and not eating. Cough can be caused by an infection, heart problem or lung condition, it is important to first know the cause before treating it as treatment is different from condition to another. The most common disease causing cough is a viral infection called Kennel cough, this disease usually resolves without treatment within a couple weeks but if the cough is too severe it is recommended to go to the vet in order to get cough medicine and antibiotics.

No, those are not signs of early pregnancy. Dogs do not get "morning sickness" like people do. Her symptoms are most likely related to the mis-mating injection she received. I do not know what type of injection is used in India for mis-mating however the one we use here in the US causes these side effects: anorexia, excitation, depression, vomiting or diarrhea. Some dogs may also be at risk for getting a severe uterine infection after the injection. The injection we use here works best and has less side effects if you wait to administer it after their heat cycle is finished. If I was your vet, I would have waited to administer the injection for a couple weeks. That being said, I do not know what medication they used. I suggest you contact your vet and find out more information and ask them about these symptoms she is having. IT is very difficult for me to say much without knowing what was used. Hope this helps. She may require medication to control her symptoms, but options are limited due to her pregnancy.
