How much chicken and rice for my 30lb diabetic dog not eating?

Pet's info: Dog | Welsh Corgi | Male | neutered | 12 years and 9 months old

My Corgi is diabetic suffering from cancer pulmonary hypertension he no longer wants to eat his glycobalance and dog food he will however eat chicken and rice how much chicken and rice can I give him he weighs approximately 30 lb

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Red's caloric intake should be about 600 to 700 calories per day. How much chicken and rice you would have to give depends on which cut of chicken you are giving him and what type of rice. For example, a cup of cooked white rice is about 215 calories and 8 ounces of chicken breast are about 300 calories. Good luck and have a good day! I hope that helps!
