My 7-week puppy is sad, sleeping a lot, and not playing. Is she sick?

Cookie is quite the cutie! I'm sorry she's feeling a bit off. With those very general symptoms, I would recommend keeping an eye on her and taking her to the vet tomorrow if she doesn't go back to normal. If she started vomiting, has white gums, doesn't want to move around at all, or seems uncomfortable, then I would recommend taking her to an emergency clinic for evaluation. In terms of the appetite, this is sometimes not uncommon in puppies when they are in their new environment. I recommend that you continue to monitor him for now, especially if you just got him. If these symptoms of not eating well and sleeping a large portion of the day do not improve, have him evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment. It is not unusual for puppies to not eat great as they get used to eating solid food. I would recommend you try different kinds of both kibble and canned food. If there is no improvement and he continues to not eat, I would recommend you consider having him evaluated by a veterinarian for that purpose and also to possibly establish care with a veterinarian for recommendations on preventative and early life care. Dixie is absolutely adorable! I would recommend taking her to a veterinarian. It is very concerning that she is barely eating and is not as active as a puppy should be. She is a large breed growing puppy so they often go through spurts of sleepiness where they may not eat as much of their food. With that said, this should then be followed by a spurt of activeness and engorging in her food, within a 24 hr period. If she is lethargic and not eating well for more than a day, then she may have an infection and should be checked out by your vet asap. Pets also don't often pee on themselves, even at this age. This concerns me for a possible urinary tract infection, which causes her to have an inflamed bladder, which then causes her to not be able to pee in a designated area. At almost 3 months of age though, she may still be potty training. At any rate, it is best to get her seen with such vague symptoms, just to make sure she doesn't have an infection and to get her treated right away if there is one present. If he is otherwise doing well without limping, I think it would be ok to monitor him for now. However, if he develops a limp or any other signs such as crying in pain, inappetence or continued lethargy, have him evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment.
