Prior to 14 weeks it is easier for them to adjust to new experiences. Keep bath time happy and a fun experience for them. Give special treats and stop if they show signs of anxiety. Do this once per week until 14-16 weeks of age or until they are used to it. Then just bathe as needed. I hope this information helps!

Baby shampoo is fine to bathe your kitten, but a cat shampoo would be a better option for Stevie. It's also safe to use Dawn dish soap to bathe him. Just make sure to wash all the soap out, and to dry him completely after the bath.

I generally do not recommend bathing cats at all, if you have some dirt spot issues you can use baby wipes with a tiny amount of peroxide, it will almost always do the job. The shampoo itself is safe, but again, if you ask me- don't do it. and it you chose to do it, definitely do not do it regularly.

He is a young kitten so bathing him shouldn't be as scary as it would for an adult cat. He will likely just be scared and try to climb out of the tub or climb you.
