Why is my unspayed cat's vaginal area black with discharge and hiding?

Discharge from the vulva of an unspayed female is always very concerning. Your cat may have a urinary tract infection or may have a more serious condition called a pyometra. This is where the uterus becomes infected. Pyometra can be life threatening. If this is what is going on with Panda she will need surgery to have her uterus removed. That discharge is very abnormal. My guess is that she may have a pyometra (uterine infection). I suggest you get her to a vet as soon as you can. If you are not near an emergency vet she can likely wait until morning as long as she is eating and drinking OK. If she is acting sick then you need to find an emergency vet right now. It may be coming from her vulva. She may have a mucous or pus filled uterus. With her belly being big too that is even more likely to be a uterus problem. Is she has a pus filled uterus (pyometra) that is a surgical emergency. It is good that it is draining. My recommendation is have her looked at sooner than later. When cats don't eat for a period of time, they develop a fatty liver which is fatal without treatment. I would take Frankie back into a vet immediately.
