What to do for a starved stray cat with eye issues and strong urine?

I agree that this kitty is thin! And I can tell you with almost 100% certainty that this is a female, because almost all calico cats are female. Certainly she would benefit from some good nutrition in the form of a high quality food. I worry that the anus is so irritated because she has diarrhea, possibly from intestinal parasites, which could also be contributing to her failure to gain weight. The red eyes could be a sign of an upper respiratory infection. Cats don't get what we think of as pink eye, but certainly they can have bacterial eye infections, and these need treatment with antibiotic eye medications. I would recommend you keep this kitty safe overnight in the house with some good food, and then take her to your nearest vet in the morning. He/she can scan her to see if she has a microchip, as she could be lost from her owners, and then provide appropriate medications. It is hard to tell by the information above but it is possible that a stray cats has an upper respiratory infection or infection in its eyes. I would try to find a vet sooner so antibiotics can be started if needed. In the mean time I would recommend keeping the cat in safe /warm area with plenty of food and water. hope he feels better

The anal issues are probably from the diarrhea which can be diet related, parasites or an infection. It is not uncommon for kittens to get respiratory infections and have ocular discharge and often sneezing to go with it. It will take some time and medicine to help out. The skin has to be tested to determine which so that we know how to move forward. Also the cat should have baseline bloodwork done to check for any possible deficiencies or low glucose that could explain the random shaking. It likely has an eye infection if one of the eyes is closed, so that should be treated with prescription eye ointment or drops from your vet as well. Since the cat is eating well, then there is no need to change its diet, unless of course she feels thin, then you should try feeding her kitten food to help bulk her up and provide her with more calories. Your kitty likely is suffering from an upper respiratory infection and should be seen by a vet for an exam and deworming. It will likely need prescription antibiotics. In the meantime (until you can take her to a vet) you can tak a cloth with warm water an soak the eyes. This should help with opening them. You can then gently wipe off the purulent discharge.

It's difficult to know what this is without seeing it. This could be a bad case of conjunctivitis, an infection within the eye, or a problem with the skin surrounding the eye. Either way, this sounds very severe and it's important that Kitty be seen by a vet soon. If you can get her into carrier and take her to a vet, that would be best. Sometimes, you have to catch them in a trap (non-harmful) in order to get them to a vet. If you have trouble doing this, or are unable to take her to a vet, then I recommend calling the local shelter and asking for assistance.
