Found a pregnant stray cat: smells bad, bald spots, not eating?

I would highly recommend that you take her to your veterinarian to check her pregnancy status and also at least run some general labwork to check on her general condition. Hello. It does sound like your cat is pregnant. Female cats often seem to become more affectionate & content when they are pregnant. The hair loss may be related to normal shedding, but often in pregnancy, some hair loss will occur. I would switch her food from a maintenance or adult cat food to a kitten food. Feed her the kitten food for the rest of her pregnancy & while she nurses the kittens. Once the kittens start to wean onto solid food ( at about 3-4 weeks of age ) you can slowly transition her back to her regular adult cat food. You really need to have Lilli to a vet for exam. Something is obviously wrong. You can't leave her like this to vomit every day and be miserable. With the hair loss, she could have ringworm, mange or any number of diseases. Again, a vet visit is needed to figure this out. Also, I suggest you have her spayed so she doesn't get pregnant anymore. Obviously that took a toll on her body.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Bella is beautiful! My concern is that Bella is not spayed and I am worried about the the mucous discharge you are describing. It may be coming from her vulva. She may have a mucous or pus filled uterus. With her belly being big too that is even more likely to be a uterus problem. Is she has a pus filled uterus (pyometra) that is a surgical emergency. It is good that it is draining. My recommendation is have her looked at sooner than later. Your Vet will likely do blood work and take a belly X-ray. I wish you and Bella the best of luck!

Hello. Please have your mother make an appointment with your veterinarian to check Koko out. She may be pregnant in which case she may need additional nutrition. She needs to be checked to see if there are more kittens yet to be born, and she likely needs assistance to give birth. I also recommend d him getting her spayed after she weans any kittens, as if she ate a kitten, she may not be a good mother. Best of luck.
