My pregnant cat won't eat dry food, only wet. Should I be worried?

At this point in her pregnancy, you should feed her kitten food. If she does turn out to not be pregnant, it will not hurt her to feed the kitten food right now. You will feed her this diet until the kittens are weaned and no longer dependent upon her for milk. The dry cat food is just fine for her. Do not give her anything like milk as this may upset her stomach. You should also talk to your veterinarian about deworming her for parasites. The other cats can eat this food as long as they do not suffer from kidney disease. It may, however, lead to weight gain due to the increased calories this diet will provide. Cats typically eat less as labor approaches and for a period of time afterwards. Delivery followed by nursing will cause her to burn a huge amounts of calories so she is likely trying to prepare. I would feed her wet/canned kitten food during the last three weeks of pregnancy so she hass enough nutrition for making her babies grow properly. Oncee she has given birth you can keep feeding her the kitten food, so there will be an easy transition when the kittens will start to eat solid food at around 6 weeks. Find homes for them now, but do not give them away before they are 12 weeks old, as they will still need mama to teach them to be good kitties, to hunt, what is safe, what is not, etc. They will also need their siblings to play and play hunt and get coordination.

Sapi should be eating kitten food, as she needs the extra calories, calcium, and protein to sustain feeding kittens. I would try mixing the dry kitten food in with the wet food, you could soak her dry kitten food with low sodium beef or chicken broth to make it more tempting for her, you could soak her dry kitten food with tuna juice, or you could mix in some boiled white meat chicken (no bones) with the dry kitten food in an attempt to get her to eat it.
