Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 5 years old | 15 lbs
hello, I have a question regarding my cat's behavior. about two weeks ago I've adopted a 3.5 months old male kitten. my other cat (5 years old male) refuses to eat the second he sees the kitten, or to get inside the house. he has lost his apetite, is apathetic, sometimes would hiss and try to attack me when I tried to pick him up. what can I do to make him comfortable in his own territory and less stressed?

She may be scared or upset about the new kitten. It can take weeks for cats to adjust to new changes and new pets. I would try to confine the new cat to a room so the older cats feels safe to explore again. Then try to reintroduce them again.
