I strongly recommend you source urine collection cat litter and submit a urine sample for analysis to rule out crystals, infection, inflammation or diabetes all of which can aggravate incontinence. Acupuncture may help if no medical complications are identified

This sounds more like a respiratory infection. Losing bladder control happens also when the cat all of a sudden cannot breathe for a second. Make sure you wipe the discharge off her nose and take her to a vet (pet ER) tonight. The wobbly walk is very concerning.

Sometimes that can be true. Although infections, crystals in the urine, bladder stones, basically anything that causes irritation to the bladder can also cause this. In general, bladder inflammation is the more common reason that cats will only urinate small quantitates. Since it hurts, they will urinate more frequently. I hope this helps!

Ongoing bleeding could be caused by a clotting disorder or low platelets or ongoing inflammation in the urinary bladder. Incontinence could be related to the trauma of the catheterization, administration of IV fluids, bladder inflammation, kidney failure, etc. You may want to discuss additional blood tests and bladder ultrasound with your vet.

Hello, sorry to hear about Romana. It sounds like she may have a tail pull injury. This can happen if she caught her tail on something and she pulled it, injuring the nerves that provide control of her defecation, urination, and tail feeling/movement. I would have her evaluated by a neurologist or your veterinarian to rule out other causes for this. A bladder infection can indeed cause cats to urinate very frequently.
