Why is my old cat bumping into things? Is he losing his sight?

Socks is an old cat he is walking about in his own world but he is eating and drinking ok but seems to be bumping into things

If Socks is bumping into thing he might have lost his sight. I could be due to an eye problem but in old cat that could be cause by an increased blood pressure (sometime secondary to a kidney disease). If possible I would have Socks checked by your veterinarian (physical examination, eye check, blood pressure check and if needed basic bloods and urinary test).
