My newborn kitten has a wound and is paralyzed. Should I take her to vet?

This is a concerning presentation for a kitten. I would recommend to continue to wipe her nose and open the mouth to clear it. Rub the kitten in small circular movements to get it breathing. Seek immediately veterinary intervention as that wound on the the back requires an immediate check up and treatment.

She needs more than a topical cream. She needs systemic antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication. Have her examined by your veterinarian today. She may need daily bathing with a medicated shampoo as well. Dry her thoroughly after each bath. You will need to change her diapers more often as well. they may be trapping moisture and keeping urine close to the skin which will result in urine scalding which lads to infection.

Poor Indigo! While it is hard to tell for certain from a photo, this does look like it could be a deep enough cut to use sutures. I would recommend having her examined by a veterinarian as soon as you can, preferably when your vet opens next if they are not open now. In the meantime, if she will allow you to clean it with mild soapy water you can do this, and apply a thick layer of an antibiotic ointment or a lubricant like ky jelly or vaseline to keep the wound moist/from drying out. If you have an e-collar to put on her this can be helpful if she is licking the area. If she seems very painful then you can take her to an emergency vet to have it looked at. Poor cat! If there is no deep pain present in the back legs then chances are kidding you won't regain function unfortunately. We use the pain is an indicator whether the pet will walk again. However if deep pain is present (kitty moves twitches or flinches when you pinch the back toes), then there is a chance that Katie can regain function of the limbs. However you won't know the extent of the injury without an x-ray. And without an x-ray he won't really know what treatment kitty needs. I unfortunately don't see a good solution here without proper diagnostics. Kittie may be a lost cause at this point without proper medical care for such a traumatic injury like this which undoubtedly involves the spinal cord and/or pelvis. I would highly consider Humane euthanasia for this kittie because the outcome looks bleak.

You need to get Baby Solar to a veterinarian or a veterinary ER immediately. Wrap him in a clean towel and transport him now. That wound will not heal on its own and puts him at risk of serious infection. He will likely require surgery to suture it closed. Antibiotics and pain management will also likely be indicated.
