Why are my paralyzed kitten's backside wounds getting worse?

I have a 5 month old paralysed kitten.She doesnt have any power in her hind legs and also has incontinence.Recently,she has been developing wounds on her backside.We apply cetrimide cream on them twice a day and keep her in diapers which we change twice daily.But the wounds keep getting worse.Please help.

She needs more than a topical cream. She needs systemic antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication. Have her examined by your veterinarian today. She may need daily bathing with a medicated shampoo as well. Dry her thoroughly after each bath. You will need to change her diapers more often as well. they may be trapping moisture and keeping urine close to the skin which will result in urine scalding which lads to infection.
