My neutered male cat's kittens look like him. How is this possible?

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 10 lbs

My male cat was hit about 3-2 weeks ago and my female cat was pregnant she just had her kittens the male cat has been neutered for about 8 months I’d say. And the female cat was pregnant right after and they had 6 kittens all the same color as the male. But now even after he was neutered 1 of the cats is his color and long haired just like he was and the rest of them are the stray cats color. Is it possible that the sperm of the male stayed in the females body?

I'm not sure I understand the time line but cats can't store sperm. Reggae has orange in her coat so she does carry the gene for the orange coloration. The long haired gene can also be carried but not expressed.
I recommend to have the female spayed when the kittens are 12 weeks old. One female cat can have up to 28 kittens in a year. This is not only a lot of cats to care for but it also contributes to the significant problem of pet over population. If cost is a concern, call the local humane society and ask about a low cost spay program.

Every cat is different but yes there is a possibility he can at 5 months as that is the start of puberty for some. I would contact your vet to see if they can do it at 5 months given the circumstance as there is not little size difference in 1 month.

Yes, she will because female cats ovulate just when they mate, so the chances of her getting pregnant when mating is close to 100%. The way to prevent pregnancy is to have her spayed, if not keep her indoors and spay any males that could come in contact with her. Male surgery is normally less invasive and cheaper and perhaps something to consider if kittens are newborns.In 6 weeks time you could have her neutered. She could also be neutered sooner if really necessary, but it is a bit more risky in terms of surgery for herself and for the kittens. Hope this helps !

My cat just had kittens and is pregnant again. What should I do?

Cats go into heat multiple times a year, so Habia can potentially have a couple of litters of kittens a year. The only way to prevent this from occurring is to have her spayed. After Habia has her next litter of kittens, I would keep her indoors and isolated from intact male cats completely. Once the kittens are weaned at six to eight weeks of age, I would take her into the vet to have her spayed. This will prevent her from becoming pregnant again.

Can a neutered male cat make a female in heat drop her eggs?

It's a little difficult to say. The female must be "induced" to ovulate, and without some kind of penetration (which I doubt your neutered boy was capable of) it seems a bit unlikely. However I would assume that being housed with an intact male should cause her to ovulate, once she allows him to mount.
