My young kitten is vomiting, not eating, and cold. Is it an emergency?

I recommend getting your cat seen by your vet or an emergency vet right away. Cats need to eat, if they go more than a few days without eating they can develop serious liver problems which can be fatal. Continuous vomiting for so many hours is very exhausting and dehydrating, so your kitten likely needs some medical intervention to get better. Your vet will do an exam, labwork, possibly x-rays, and based on these results, your vet will have a better idea what is going on and can better advise you about treatment options.

Hypothermic kittens can be much more sick than they let on. Vomiting can be caused by many things, including hairballs, food allergy, eating too fast, GI blockage, intestinal parasites, IBD, systemic disease (liver, kidney, pancreas, diabetes), among others. If the vomiting happens for more than 24 hours, or if Tom does not eat in that time, he needs to see a vet immediately. Continue to encourage him to drink water and eat canned cat food. You can use a heating pad on the low setting to help warm him up, but check often that it is not too hot as it is quite easy to burn their skin. You can leave the heating pad where he can sit on it, but if he moves away do not force him to go back.

I'm sorry to hear that Eggy has been vomiting and seeming fussy. In a young cat with sudden vomiting, fussy/abnormal behavior and decreased drinking, she may have a foreign body intestinal obstruction, virus, parasites, pancreatitis, or inflammatory bowel disease leading to her issues. Since she is not drinking well and continuing to vomit, it is likely that she has become dehydrated, so now is the time to take her to the emergency vet. The vet will examine her, perform any necessary diagnostic testing (likely including blood tests and x-rays), and then determine the best course of treatment. You can probably wait until the morning to take him in to your regular vet. Just try to keep him calm and comfortable until then the best you can. If he starts crying out in pain for no reason, is vomiting without stopping, or having any bloody vomitus or diarrhea you should take him in tonight. Otherwise he will likely be ok until morning. Poor JJ. This sounds liked a medical emergency and I would recommend to take him to your nearest emergency clinic. JJ could be suffering from low glucose - you can try putting some Karo syrup or honey on his gums before you leave for the vet clinic. Unfortunately, JJ could also be suffering from a virus or even large number of parasites, anemia or much more. Your vet will be able to do blood work and other testing if needed and come up with a good treatment plan for him. I hope he starts to feel better really soon!

From your description, it sounds like Ivory isn't feeling well at the moment, and his symptoms could be indicating a possible respiratory infection. Make sure he is eating and drinking, keep him warm, and bring him into the bathroom with you when you take a shower, The steam may help with his breathing and clear up any congestion. Take him into the vet first thing in the morning. Now if he won't eat or drink, he appears to be in respiratory distress (difficulty breathing), and/or becomes very lethargic, I would take him into an ER vet immediately. Best of luck!

Since your kitten has not eaten in three days, this is an emergency now. It is likely very dehydrated as well. Please take Muezza to an out of hours veterinary service NOW.
