Why is my 6-week-old kitten vomiting white liquid after eating?

It certainly sounds as though Zaytoune isn't feeling well! At 3.5 weeks old, we need to be sure kittens are eating every few hours to keep their blood glucose (sugar) levels adequate. If blood glucose becomes too low, animals can become lethargic and even begin to seizure in severe cases. Possible causes of vomiting could include gastrointestinal upset from his medication, diet change, a virus, etc. Since he is so young and not keeping milk or food down, I would recommend taking him to an emergency veterinarian as soon as possible to assure that his blood glucose levels are appropriate.

Your kitten needs to be seen by a vet immediately. Cats cannot go without eating for more than a few days without suffering liver damage. Your kitten is likely very dehydrated and weak and will need supportive care to help him survive. Right now, make sure he stays warm and mix some honey or corn syrup with warm water and very carefully use a syringe or dropper to get him to swallow some of this to help rehydrate him and give him some calories. Be very careful because it is easy to choke him when he is this weak.

Poor kitty. Vomiting and diarrhea in a such a young kitty can be caused by a bacterial or viral infection in most cases. If kitty gets into things it can also be causaed by a foreign body ingestion. I would highly recommend taking this fur ball to your local vet for a thorough check up and medications to stop the vomtiing and potentially antibiotics may be needed.. Vomiting in cats can be caused by primary issues with the gastrointestinal tract, dysfunction of the organs, infection, intolerance to a diet, etc. Either way, this is very concerning and KitKat should be seen by a veterinarian ASAP for examination and potential diagnostics.

She could have a parasite, infection, or an upset stomach from something she ate. The fact that she is weak is concerning and she should be examined by a vet to determine the cause and treat. Your vet can test a stool sample for parasites and then prescribe medications. She might also need fluids to prevent dehydration.
