My kitten is vomiting and not eating. What if I can't afford a vet?

  How lovely of you to take in this little kitten, but he sounds very ill at the moment. It's very concerning that he's not eating and he's been throwing up. I think he needs a vet visit right away, he can easily become dehydrated from this vomiting. He needs medication to stop the vomiting, probably IV fluids for hydration, and any other treatment the vet deems necessarily . Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website.

  You did exactly the right thing by taking Ben into the vet after ingesting some grapes! I can understand being concerned about him vomiting, and given the current circumstances, I would monitor him for now. If he continues to vomit, take him into an ER vet or find a vet on call to see him. I'd also take him into a vet if he stops eating, becomes lethargic or listless, has diarrhea, his breath has a strange odor to it, and/ or has seizures. You can try giving him a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts to see if that helps settle his stomach. I'm not sure when he is scheduled to see a vet again, but a check up with a vet in another couple of days would be a good idea. I hope this helps, good luck!

  Poor Sebastian.
  I would recommend taking him to the vet immediately. I would be very concerned about an obstruction in his gastrointestinal tract somewhere. It is very unusual for a young kitty to be lethargic like that, and vomiting foul smelling liquid even after drinking only water is very concerning. Your vet will perform a thorough physical exam, and likely will take some X-rays. Look around your house for anything that Sebastian may have chewed on-kitty/dog toys, baby toys, string, Christmas ornaments-knowing this can sometimes help your vet. They may also recommend bloodwork if they are concerned about dehydration, electrolyte imbalance or other internal issues. Be prepared that Sebastian may need surgery if he has indeed eaten something he shouldn’t.
  This is definitely an emergency for him-he will likely become very very ill if you do not take him in as soon as possible.
