Kitten not eating, vomiting green liquid, stomach lump. Emergency?

I have a 9 week old kitten, Spirit. She hasn't been eating or drinking water for 2 days now. She has been vomiting green liquid, but shows no sign of bowel movements. Spirit had her first vaccination about 10 days ago and was dewormed a few days before that. I resqued her from the street at about 2 weeks old. She was doing great until 2 days ago. It feels like there's a big sharp lump in her stomach. Please help with some advice as the vets here only open in the next 8 hours. Thank you

I hate to hear that Spirit is so sick. If you are feeling a lump in her stomach, it could mean she has swollen something she shouldn't have an it is causing an obstruction. This is a serious condition that is fatal unless the obstruction is removed (usually this requires surgery). Pets can vomit due to many other reasons including infection, poisoning or parasites. Spirit sounds like she is very sick and I am very concerned if the lump you are feeling is real. I recommend to take her to an emergency veterinary clinic if one is available.
If you cannot get her to an emergency clinic, fast her from food but make sure she is drinking small amounts of water frequently. Unfortunately, there is not anything else you can do at home. Get her into the veterinarian's office as soon as you can. She will x-rays to look for a foreign object in her abdomen.

Cats can actually develop a liver disease if they go too long without eating. The veterinarian will feel her belly and try to determine the source of the knot. She could be pregnant, have a wound under the skin that has become infected forming an abscess or even have a mass in her abdomen. Her veterinarian may recommend x-rays and bloodwork based on her exam findings. I hope this information helps!

I recommend getting your cat seen by your vet or an emergency vet right away. Cats need to eat, if they go more than a few days without eating they can develop serious liver problems which can be fatal. Continuous vomiting for so many hours is very exhausting and dehydrating, so your kitten likely needs some medical intervention to get better. Your vet will do an exam, labwork, possibly x-rays, and based on these results, your vet will have a better idea what is going on and can better advise you about treatment options.

I am unsure if there is one issue responsible for what you are describing with Tommy. However, I am concerned about a large or distended abdomen, particularly with signs of vomiting in a young cat. It is possible there is some sort of obstruction in the intestines or even something else wrong within the abdomen that is causing distention. I worry about Tommy becoming dehydrated and painful with the symptoms you are describing. I recommend having Tommy evaluated by a veterinarian today. They will likely recommend x-rays or an ultrasound to look at the abdomen and help determine the cause of the distention and the vomiting. If there is something causing an obstruction, Tommy may need surgery to remove what every is present. There are many other things that he may benefit from as well, such as a medication to treat nausea and fluids to treat dehydration. It is best that Tommy be examined as quickly as possible.

Based on what you are describing, I would be concerned your kitten may have an abscess on its side that is draining. I would recommend your kitten be evaluated by a veterinarian; if it is an abscess or infection, it would need antibiotics to resolve. There are multiple causes for diarrhea, including intestinal parasites, a viral infection, dietary indiscretion, food intolerance, or some other underlying issue. I would warm compress your kitten's side, and get in to see a veterinarian as soon as possible. Good luck!

Please take her into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies.
