My new kitten is sick: vomiting, diarrhea, not eating. Is this normal?

Congratulations on getting Thor! Kittens very commonly have parasites and these will cause diarrhea. A new change in food or bacterial over growth will also cause a loose stool. It also sounds like Thor's rectum is becoming irritated from the diarrhea. Get an appointment with the vet and bring in a stool sample for the doctor check for parasites. Thor will also need a few rounds of vaccines but they will determine if he can have those at the same visit as he is sick with diarrhea. A heavy burden of them can lead a kitten to be more lethargic and not want to eat, as could an infection such as from the sore on his ear. It's serious enough that Thor should see a vet first thing in the morning so his symptoms can be diagnosed and treated.

No, this is not normal. Not eating is very abnormal in young kittens. Most common reasons for the behavior you described is viral disease and internal parasites. Other options are trauma (like he fell and hurt himself) and intestinal obstruction. Milo really needs to be assessed by a veterinarian as soon as possible.

I would highly recommend taking Thor into your local ER vet right away for care. Henry is gorgeous! If he is very dull and vomiting a lot you should take him to the vet so he doesn't become very dehydrated. If he still seems quite bright he has likely developed a bit of gastroenteritis with the stress of moving, and all the changes. I would encourage him to drink plenty of water, you can add some tuna juice to it. Don't feed him for 12 hours to let his tummy settle then feed a little bit of kitten food mixed with some rice. Gradually feed him a little more. Make sure he is wormed also. If he isn't picking up within 24 hours take him to the vet.
