My kitten is puking white mush and has diarrhea after new food.

Poor thing! I would continue with the baby food but start mixing some mild canned cat food in. Start with a very small amount and work your way to a predominate cat food mixture. I would also make sure she is dewormed at least twice as many young kittens have GI parasites that can make them vomit (in severe cases)

Poor Kilro! It's likely that he could be suffering from a GI illness or possibly eating something rotten rather than be disgusted by your other's cats smell. I will give you a home remedy to try to see if that helps before having to take him into the vet, but I would also caution about letting him near the mother cat and her kittens. Mother cats can be very protective of their kittens around other cats, and they should be isolated while the kittens are very young to reduce stress. Once the kittens have their eyes open and are more mobile (around four weeks of age), then you can let them around Kilro. As for the home remedy, I recommend withholding food for 12-24 hours, then feeding a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away. Hello, If the kitten is weaned, milk can cause gastrointestinal upset as they are no longer supposed to be drinking it. Vomit and diarrhea could be caused by this, parasites, viral infections, or intestinal blockages. Foaming at the mouth can be a sign of abdominal pain and nausea. I recommend getting your cat seen by your vet or an emergency vet right away. Cats need to eat, if they go more than a few days without eating they can develop serious liver problems which can be fatal. Continuous vomiting for so many hours is very exhausting and dehydrating, so your kitten likely needs some medical intervention to get better. Your vet will do an exam, labwork, possibly x-rays, and based on these results, your vet will have a better idea what is going on and can better advise you about treatment options.

I would recommend taking Mushy to the vet for evaluation. Kittens don't typically start eating solid food until 6 weeks, 5 weeks at the earliest. Then they should be eating a balanced kitten food. Canned tuna doesn't have all of the nutrients her body needs to grow properly. Vomiting and diarrhea in a kitten can be very serious and they can get dehydrated very quickly. Common causes include dietary intolerance, obstruction, viral or bacterial infection, intestinal parasites, etc.

Have you changed any of her food ? If so, it could just be the diet change as her tummy is still quite delicate and immature and it can take time and a few tummy upsets to get used to all the food ingredients. If no food has been changed, then I wonder if Pompom has been treated for worms. All kittens need to be treated for worms regularly, using a safe product dosed for her weight. You will have to take her to see a vet to get the right product for her. With regards to her food, just remember to change her diet gradually.

At this point if they are still vomiting you need to take them to the vet urgently, they will need a special food together with some mother's milk and they will need to be treated with antibiotics as well.
