If Smokey only vomited once and is otherwise fine now it's nothing to be overly concerned about. Cats vomit more regularly than other animals, often from hair in the stomach, eating too fast and if they have eaten something else undigestible such as a rodent or insect. Once they vomit up the problem then they are usually fine. When they are lethargic, not eating at all, and have vomiting and diarrhea then I bring them to your veterinarian for treatment. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to help you care for Smokey.
