My kitten is falling, seizing, and struggling to walk. What's wrong?

Unfortunately, there are a lot of issues that can cause this, so a vet visit is best. Neurologic issues from birth, muscular or nerve issues in the body, illnesses, toxicities, etc are all potential causes that could cause a cat to not be able to walk, stand, or fall over. A full vet visit is a good idea to help figure out what the problem is and provide appropriate treatment.

It sounds like Lily is in critical condition! She may have seizures, a thrombus cutting off blood supply to her back legs, or she may have ingested a toxin. I would recommend seeing a veterinarian as soon as possible. There is nothing that you would be able to do at home to help her at this point, and I would be worried that she may not survive much longer from what you describe.

Inability to walk, confusion, staggering, etc are all very serious and concerning signs that require veterinary care ASAP. Unfortunately, Whiskers needs to be seen by a vet in person to be examined and the underlying cause of his issues found. Poor Simba sounds very weak and it does sound like she is ill and in pain. She could have been injured, she could be suffering from a systemic illness, or she could have an infection. Her symptoms are very general, so it's hard for me to narrow down more what could be going on with her without seeing her in person. Given her age and the fact that she is has been like this all night and day, taking her into the vet now would be the best option. The vet can diagnose what is causing her to behavior like this, and can treat accordingly.

Hi! Thanks for entrusting us with Sweetie's care today! Lameness can be a sign of a few things that range from a muscle sprain to even a fracture. I recommend that you have her evaluated by your veterinarian so that this can be further assessed which will likely include radiographs. Poor Zoey! Unfortunately, the video will not load on the Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach forum, but I can get a sense for her abnormal gait from your description and the pictures. My first concern would be that Zoey may have cerebellar hypoplasia, but meningitis, toxoplasmosis, congenital lysosomal storage diseases, FIP, FIV, FeLV or spinal cord lesions are all possible. If it has not yet been done, ask your vet about performing a blood test for FIV and FeLV (feline leukemia). Otherwise, hopefully they are able to obtain further insight from a veterinary neurologist or internal medicine specialist. I hope that all goes well!
