Kitten choked on fishbone, gagging and vomiting. Is it an emergency?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 3 months and 5 days old

my 3 and half month kitten choked on fishbone. she vomited white foam but then nothing. theres no vet open right now so i can only look for any sign from her. she doesn't panting or looking nervous,just a little gagging but mostly she just looks uncomfortable. she still can go around but still not as active as before. should i be concern? i'll bring her to vet if there's any open or asap later.

I would be concerned that this bone could still be stuck in her throat, and Lobsti has to see a vet now. Please take her into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. This is unlikely to pass in a kitten sinsmall. He should be examined by an vet at an ER clinic to have an x ray done to see where it is and how large as surgery may be needed to remove it safely. If you notice any signs of vomiting or diarrhea or lethargy with no appetite then that is a sign there is a problem and things are getting worse

My cat ate fish bones, is lethargic. Should I see an emergency vet?

His gums don't look tremendously pale, but the lethargy and discomfort you describe is concerning, and yes, I would take him in. It's hard to say whether the bones could have caused a complete GI blockage, but if he's not defecating at all (or urinating???) then that is a potential concern. Even a serious case of gastroenteritis secondary to eating fish and bones is extremely uncomfortable, and warrants treatment. I would take him in ASAP.

Poor Phoebe. Do not give her any olive oil, that won't help. What I am concerned about is that she may have difficulties breathing. This can be very serious and breathing difficulties can be fatal. Without seeing her in person, I can't say if she will be ok or not. I'd have her seen by an ER vet now to be safe. I hope this helps!

Why is my cat vomiting yellow, drooling, and choking on a bone?

I hope Kiki is feeling better. Definitely take him to the vet today. He could have a piece of bone lodged in his mouth or esophagus. In the future I would not allow him to eat or chew on any bones as there is always a possibility of choking or GI problems.
