My cat was declawed. Is Okocat litter safe during her healing?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 10.7 lbs

My cat Lily was declawed last week. She hates the cat litter named Yesterday News. She is used to A&H Slide. Is Okocat litter safe and a good alternative cat litter while she is healing?

Their dust free paper non-clumping kind would be okay. The main objective is to use a litter that is less likely to get into the small incisions on her toes in case there is an open area. Any traditional clay or clumping litter is NOT recommended. Litter in the form of pellets that don’t break apart is what you are looking for. You can also use shredded paper.
