My cat has white spots on his lip, but they don't seem to hurt him.

Looks like a condition called esosinophilic granuloma complex which can occur in cats. It appears like it should be very painful. If you notice he is eating or grooming less, these are signs he is uncomfortable. Sometimes this is caused by an allergy. I would recommend changing food bowls and try a hypoallergenic diet. Ultimately seeing your veterinarian to have a biopsy performed to confirm the diagnose and starting some medications will be needed to help resolve the swelling. Good luck !

It could be an area swollen from her hitting her chin on something or it could be an infection / pimple (acne). If it does not resolve on its own, I would recommend having Mouse examined by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I hope this helps! If it doesn't seem to be bothering him and is just slightly raised, its reasonable to just keep an eye on it and ask your vet next time you are in for an annual exam. Hello. Cats can develop pigmentary spots similar to freckles in people. The spot do show up more often on the lips & the pink skin around the eyes. If you could post a very clear picture, I might be able to be a little more accurate, otherwise, just point the spot out to your vet at Tiffany's next visit.
