My cat vomits once everyday and barely eats. I have already changed his food and started giving him probiotic & prebiotic formula. But he continues to vomit semi digested food. What could be wrong with him?

It sounds as Dolu is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

I am so Sorry for your loss and that Dolu is now unwell as well. Unfortunately with clinical symptoms as serious as this, with one death already I have to advise you take Dolu to the veterinarian immediately. They will be able to start life saving tactics like IV fluids, and possibly even IV antibiotics which work rapidly.
In the meantime you can keep Dolu’s fluids intake up with low sodium chicken broth. A bland diet of boiled chicken breast with no bones will help as well if he feels interested in eating.
Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach and please post any further questions you may have. We are here to support you and Dolu.
