What documents are needed to travel with my kitten to Brazil?

That is exciting to take Nessa with you! Each country has its own requirements for entry. I would advise to go to USDA.gov and go to the exporting pets page. You will find Norway on the list. Familiarize yourself with the requirements and print them off to bring in with Nessa for her health certificate. A USDA accredited veterinarian will need to provide a health certificate and it may also need to be notarized by the state veterinarian so make sure you are doing things in the appropriate time line. Not all vets are certified, so if Nessa's doctor is not, there is also a link on the USDA website to find an accredited doctor. Additionally, the airline will have its own set of requirements and time lines. Most airlines will have their pet policies posted on the website. Also, some countries will need the doctor to sign off on parasite preventions. This will be noted in Nessa's health certificate. I hope I have pointed you in the right direction. Hello, thank you or using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. There are some very specific requirements to travel overseas with a pet. This is something you need to work very closely with your veterinarian to make sure nothing is missed. This just can not be done on line by yourself. Your veterinarian will research what is necessary based on what countries you will be visiting. Please also consider the stress you will be subjecting such a young puppy to. It is a very long flight with no potty breaks, & if your pup gets sick overseas, you will be in a very difficult situation trying to find veterinary care. Perhaps you have a trusted relative or friend who can keep Luna for you while you are gone? Honestly, this will be so much better than trying to travel & find pet friendly hotels while in Europe. Unfortunately, Petco veterinarians do not issue travel certificates. You will need to make an appointment at a veterinary clinic or hospital with a veterinarian that is USDA accredited. This vet can perform an exam and issue a travel certificate for international travel as well as microchip and vaccinate Jefe. The timing of vaccination and microchipping is critical regarding travel, so review the qualifications closely before doing anything. The rules for traveling internationally with a pet can be labyrinthine, so contacting the USDA as well as the German consulate to confirm everything is in order for your trip is strongly recommended.

They can help you follow the very exact and time sensitive protocols required to transport animals from the US to other countries.
