My cat is sick and sleeping with his head down. What should I do?

It sounds like Meeko could have seriously hurt himself jumping, and I'm concerned he has trouble keeping his head up. I think he needs to see a vet now. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. Not drinking water is concerning because cats can get dehydrated very quickly if not drinking. Possibilities at this point include pancreatitis, gastroenteritis, among many other possibilities. Eating the mole is unlikely to be playing a factor though it could be. I highly recommend that you have Kneads evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. He will likely need blood work and x-rays of his chest to determine why he is so sick. In the meantime, place karo or maple syrup on his gums. This will help if his blood sugar has dropped too low. Since this is a new behavior, he should be examined by his veterinarian to help figure out what is wrong.
