My kitten can't hold head up, slept all day. Is it an emergency?

I would have Miss Kitty seen by a vet now. Young kittens are very fragile, and and I'm concerned that she took a hard fall and now just wants to be sleep. She needs to be checked out to be safe. I'm really concerned about Des wobbling like she is drunk, as that can be a sign of something serious like getting into something toxic. his is an emergency. Take her to a veterinarian right away, as this points to either hypoglycemia or an infection or she got hurt while roaming. Confine her to a room at this age as roaming for such a small kitten is dangerous and they can get into trouble easily. Please have her seen by a veterinarian today.

This poor kitten needs to see a vet immediately. If his tail is hanging by a thread, this is extremely painful and there are no pain medications you can give him. Many human pain medications are toxic to cats, and are fatal if given. He may also have a severe eye infection, which also needs to be treated by a vet. Leaving an eye infection untreated can lead to vision loss. I would consider this a medical emergency. This is definitely a situation where I would suggest taking him to a Vet asap. Many injuries are not visible to us after a "crush injury". Your kitten could have broken bones, internal bleeding, or even swelling in the spinal cord or a break.
