My cat stopped playing, has dry nose/ears. When to see a vet?

If she is still eating and drinking then you could probably wait until tomorrow to get her in to see your regular vet. However, if she will not eat or drink, is not urinating or starts vomiting, you will need to take her in right away. I would not recommend waiting until Friday to have her seen.

Molly's ears being warm could indicate a fever, but if she was laying near the heat, that could also be the cause of it. Given that she is eating, I would monitor her for now. I'm sorry Blue isn't doing well at the moment! I wouldn't worry about his nose going from wet and cold to warm and dry. This isn't a sign of illness in cats, as their nose can change like this just by lying next to a heat source or in the sun. It could be he's simply not feeling well, but I wouldn't rush him into a vet just yet. Try to tempt him to eat by offering him some boiled white meat chicken (no bones), or by offering him some gently warmed canned food. Margo could have something lodged in her throat or this could be a sign of nausea. As long as she is eating and not vomiting I think it’s probably okay to wait until Monday. If she has any other symptoms or seems to be getting worse you should see your vet sooner.

I don't think I would be overly concerned but cats do often try to tell us something with subtle behavior changes. If she had a tooth removed a few months ago it may be related to that. It could be allergies. It could be the beginning of an upper respiratory issue. I suggest you start her on a lysine supplement to help boost her immune system and monitor her.
