Is my cat's dry nose normal if he's eating, drinking, and playing?

I would not worry about that at the moment, as sometimes a nose can change color and become dry intermittently even nothing is wrong. However, monitor this condition and watch for sneezing, discharge from the nostrils or eyes. If this occurs, she needs to be examined by a vet as she may have a respiratory condition.

Ouch! It looks like the nose may have gotten a minor wound on it, possibly from rough play. I would keep the nose clean and dry to prevent any infection and keep an eye on it. This could also be a response to environmental change (dry air, warm temperature, etc.). If he is otherwise doing well, I would recommend trying a moisturizing balm such as BioBalm by Dermoscent, which can be found online quite easily. I would give this 1-2 months to see if it works. If there is no change, then I would recommend having a veterinarian examine Logan so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I hope this helps! I'd just keep an eye on Lily over the weekend. It's good that she is eating and drinking. Take her into the vet on Monday of those symptoms continue. If she stops eating or drinking, take her into a vet immediately.

It's normal for a cat to have a wet nose! It can go from wet and cold to dry and warm just by laying in the sun or next to a heat source. The temperature and humidity in a room or the outdoors can influence a cat's nose to be wet or dry. Unless you are seeing excess discharge from Uli's nose, I would not worry about it :-)

As long as he is eating, drinking and acting normally, then it should be fine to monitor him for another 24-48 hours. This is a previous misconception that dry noses are unhealthy due to previously high incidences of Distemper. However, a dry nose is not of concern, and does not mean that Bruno is sick! As long as Bruno is acting normally - eating/drinking/urinating/defecating normally, I would not be concerned. I hope this is helpful!
