Not going to the bathroom, lack of appetite and laying in one spot can be a sign of a blockage in the urethra or intestines. Yes, this sounds like he’s in pain. He may have a bite wound you can’t see, or he could have a urinary obstruction. Just to be safe I recommend a veterinary exam right away. If it’s due to infection then they will treat him with antibiotics. If he has a urinary obstruction that can quickly become life threatening. A urinary blockage can cause kidney damage, and death in a day or two without treatment. It is a common emergency in male cats, so please bring him in today. If it has been more than a day without drinking or urination, or your cat seems in severe distress (vocalizing, painful abdomen, attempting to urinate but can't, etc), then this should be seen by your vet immediately as it may indicate another blockage that requires treatment.

Have Moose examined tonight by your veterinarian or at the nearest veterinary ER. A cat that is not urinating or is unable to urinate should be considered a veterinary emergency. An exam and testing may diagnose another urinary tract infection or a urinary obstruction. Blood work can be submitted to assess major organ function, especially kidney function. Treatment will depend on the diagnosis.

I would recommend getting him to a vet if you can, otherwise try to increase his water intake. Try getting him canned food, and adding water to the food, or providing him with fresh water, or running water (some cats like this).
