Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 2 years and 4 months old
My cat (2 years old black male) has been acting lethargic, sitting in a hunched position, and not taking to eating or drinking much. He has eaten a small amount of broth/wet food, and had one bowel movement and urination in the past 24 hours. He has taken to hiding away where we can't reach him. In the past, he has gagged/heaved after eating, and has thrown up once that I know of, but I didn't think much of it. Will he get better on his own? Can I do anything to ease his pain?

That sounds like Ted is feeling pretty ill and is possibly also in pain. Since he is vomiting, not eating a lot and hunched over, it would be best to seek veterinary care ASAP so he can be examined and tested for issues such as GI problems, organ function issues, illnesses, etc that are causing his symptoms.
