Did my cat have an instant death or did he suffer? He was hit by a car a lady brought his body back to me there wasn’t any blood on his body just blood coming from his nose and mouth does this mean his death was instant?

I am so sorry about Oreo. He likely sustained internal injuries that were not evident from the outside. He could have had internal bleeding or damage to his lungs or other vital organs. He likely did not experience much pain at first due to the adrenaline response but after it is possible there was pain if he did not pass quickly.
