No, you need to bring him to the vet urgently, a cat that does not eat for more than 3 days starts developing a condition called fatty liver and this must be treated with iv fluids, anti emetic medications and other medications to support the liver, this is even before your vet finds and treats the original condition that caused him to stop eating in the first place. you must take him to the vet today otherwise he will not survive and you cannot treat this at home.

Human drugs can cause severe side effects in cats and even death. If you can not afford the testing then ask your Vet for supportive care, things like fluids under the skin and antibiotics for a longer course. In the IS pneumonia is rate in cats. Cats more commonly are chronically infected with viral infections or if they have chronic fevers were worry about Feline Leukemia, FIV and Feline Infectious Peritonitis. It depends on how high Al's fever is at the moment. A cat's normal temperature is between 101-102.5F. Take his temperature rectally, and if it's above 103F, he will need to see a vet immediately. Should it be normal or between 102.5-103F, then he can wait until the morning to see the vet.

Hello. Prescribing an antibiotic is a delicate balance between knowing what a pet has & how they will tolerate it. Gentamicin is a powerful antibiotic, but must be used with caution in dehydrated animals, & it is quite easy for a sick cat to become dehydrated. If your cat is in-hospital, then this is being monitored. If not, this is not my first choice of antibiotics to fight infection in a cat, BUT I also have no idea what your cat may have. If you are concerned, you should definitely discuss this with your vet, or perhaps seek a second opinion from some one else who can actually examine Guddu.
