My cat has an ear infection in her left ear. She has been to the vet and got ear medicine that I have been using every other day as instructed. (The ear medicine is pictured). I have been using cotton swabs to carefully wipe out the excess discharge which is dark brown/black, and yellow (mucous like consistency), doesn't smell bad. She wasn't given any antibiotics, just the ear stuff but the discharge hasn't lessened yet. Should the problem be improving by now? Should she have oral antibiotics?
