Cat's ear infection: head tilt, balance issues. Is current treatment enough?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 9 years and 7 months old

My cat has chronic ear infection in the right ear,he was treated with Surolan and Dexoryl ear drops and given Clavamox and Marfloxin antibiotics,this morning all signs of inner infection,head shaking constantly, difficulty in walking,head toward the side of the ear,rapid side to side movements of the eyes, nausea,vet say to stay home and continue antibiotics,is that enough

If the infection goes that far, we often use antibiotics tablets (sometimes two different types at the same time, as Melcho is having now) and strong anti-inflammatory medications, usually steroids. You should get in touch with your vets again, as it sounds that your Melcho is struggling at the moment and he may benefit from more aggressive therapy.
