My cat is drooling, weak, and had ticks. Is this an emergency?

Poor SoCo sounds extremely ill, and the symptoms you are describing are a medical emergency. As a senior cat, he could have many things wrong with him including dental problems, diabetes, kidney failure, hyperthyroidism, liver failure, or cancer among others. He needs veterinary care now to diagnose what is causing all his symptoms so he can be treated. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. I can't make much out from the pictures you've provided. However, I can tell you that if Tigger has multiples ticks on him and is showing signs of neurologic deficits, he should be seen by a veterinarian. There are certain tick borne diseases capable of causing clinical signs consistent with what you are describing. If you are able to get a more clear picture of the bug that is attached to Tigger, I might be able to better help with a diagnosis. If he is not drinking water either, depending on how long this has gone on for, it can cause dehydration fairly quickly. You might also try to obtain a temperature of Tigger at home rectally. Check to see if it is elevated above 102.5-103.0. If so, a fever in combination with the other symptoms certainly warrants some concern.

I am sorry to hear about Blue. One thing we worry about in male cats exhibiting this behavior is a urinary blockage. It can make them lethargic, vomit, not eat, painful (drooling can be a sign of pain). If you aren't sure he is urinating normally or if you press on his lower belly and he is painful then we would be very concerned this could be his issue and this is a medical emergency and he should be seen right away.

Diamond sounds very sick at the moment, and I recommend an immediate vet visit. It's very concerning she is extremely hot, and that could be signs she has a high fever or may be suffering from heat stroke. She is showing you she is very ill by not moving at all in six hours, and I would consider this an emergency. I would recommend having a veterinarian take a look at her for further testing to help determine what the problem is. She will likely need an antibiotic which your vet can prescribe and get her started on right away. I would also recommend testing her for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus (felv/fiv testing). I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. This is an emergency. Sophie needs to be seen by a veterinarian right away. Please take her to a vet or pet ER now. The signs are too unspecific, however she is very likely severely dehydrated and will need fluids, the drooling points to a trauma in the mouth, jaw or head (maybe she was hit by a car) and the smelly breath also points to infection of a possible wound or fracture. Your cat sounds very ill. I would recommend taking him to your local vet rigth away for some testing to determine what is causing his illness. Severe lethargy can be cause by just about every disease process so it’s hard to narrow things down with some bloodwork, a urinalysis and perhaps even some radiographs to start.
