Is it healthy for my cat to drink human milk powder mixed with water?

No. Kitty was weaned by her mother between 5-8 weeks of age. She no longer needs milk and it could even upset her stomach. I would not recommend giving it cat milk at 8 weeks of age. Sometimes the cat milk can cause diarrhea in older kittens. I would recommend a dry or wet kitten food for a 8 week old kitten. This is the best food option at this age.

A kitten at 8 weeks old is able to eat dry food just fine. If you want to put a little water or tuna juice on it to soften it you can but it is likely not necessary. If she will not eat the dry food you can always give her canned food. DO NOT mix it with cow's milk - that milk is not good for cats. If you must use milk you need to use kitten milk replacer. Typically cats are not big water drinkers, and it may be drinking water at night when you are asleep. No, I would not give Milo cow's milk. Cats are actually lactose intolerant, and giving him cow's milk can cause diarrhea and vomiting. I would try feeding him canned food along with his dry kitten food, as that will get more moisture into his diet. You can also try a pet water fountain. It will provide a continual source of fresh water for him and may encourage him to drink. I have a pet water fountain for my cats and they love it. You can get them online or from a pet store. Those poor kittens and their mother! Do not give Vinnie cow's milk, it's not good for cats. Cats are lactose intolerant, and it will give them diarrhea as well as possibly cause them to vomit. The mucus on her butt could be from diarrhea, and that diarrhea could also be caused by intestinal worms, which are common in young kittens. Both kittens need a deworming treatment, and they need a kitten formula to eat. If their eyes are open, then they are old enough to be weaned onto a kitten dry food. To help them wean and to get used to dry food, I would soak a high quality kitten formulated dry food in warm water until soft. Then mix that with kitten formula such as KMR to make a mush the consistency of oatmeal. Over the next two weeks, gradually increase the amount of dry kitten food and decrease the amount of water and KMR you use until they are eating the dry kitten food only. If Vinnie continues to not eat and act lethargic over the next 12 hours, he will need to see a vet immediately. Best of luck, I hope this helps.

If the kitten is 1-2 months old than she should be able to eat some regular cat food, especially if you get wet food and add some water to it. Human baby formula is not ideal but if you can't get kitten milk replacer and she is not eating solid food than you could give her some. It would be best to use a kitten formula or just regular cat food. Most kittens than are 2 months old are ready to be weaned from their mothers.

Kittens and puppies once weaned from their mother lose the ability to digest the milk sugar lactose. Just like people that are lactose intolerant. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, intestinal cramping can develop. Just provide fresh water always.
