My cat drank sugar-free chocolate milk, is it dangerous for her?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 3 lbs

My little sister was giving Batset teaspoons of chocolate milk. What do I do? It was skim milk mixed with sugar free nesquik. she says she did not give her a lot, but I am not sure.

Hello. I would not be too worried about the milk chocolate in the Nesquik, we may actually have more issues with the sugar free part. If this product contains xylitol, this can cause Batset's blood sugar to drop pretty low. Look on the ingredients & if you see xylitol listed, I would give her some food & she should be just fine.
