Cat only eats dry food after deworming, avoids wet. Should I worry?

If she is generally fussy, I wouldn't be too concerned that she has stopped eating her wet food as long as she's eating her dry cat food. It's very important that she eats, and it may be that if you've given her a different flavor of Whiskas, she simply doesn't like it and doesn't want to eat it. If she does stop eating food altogether, then I would be worried and I would have her seen by a vet.

It is fines as long as she does eat and drink. Sometimes a cat's preference changes, especially when under a hormonal influence such as pregnancy. Feed her a good quality wet food twice daily and from day 40 of pregnancy , feed her canned kitten food as she will need the extra nutrition for the kittens' growth.

One of the things we have found is that wet food is actually healthier for cats than dry food. I feed my cats wet food only. It is better for their kidneys long term and seems to help prevent obesity since dry food has to have carbohydrates in it that cats can't utilize well. Yes, in itself there is nothing to worry about. If Vincy was living in nature he would eat small prays and he would get moisture from his food. Biscuits and dry food is food formulated by humans, so if Vincy prefers wet food there is nothing to be worried about. Hope this helps !
