My cat ate paint, vomited, and now seems lifeless. Is it serious?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | 5 years and 4 months old | 8 lbs

I saw my cat eat paint. Then she vomited for 2 days and i thought She was all better, Now she seems lifeless. I'm not sure if lead is in the paint. So should I be worried?

Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Patches definitely may have ingested something toxic in the paint. Although most modern paints do not contain lead, paint may still contain harmful chemicals that can affect the liver and nervous system. I recommend having Patches seen by a vet immediately, especially if you think she is not responsive. There is usually an emergency clinic open 24 hours in most towns/cities.
