My cat ate maple syrup and threw up. Is it toxic? When to see a vet?

While maple syrup is high in calories and I wouldn't recommend feeding a lot, I think it should be fine to mix a few drops with laxatone to get Fatboy to eat it. Maple syrup is not toxic to cats. If you're interested Vetoquinol makes a maple flavored laxatone that Fatboy might like. Sometimes I have cat owners put the laxatone on their cat's paws to make sure they lick all of it off.

Oh no it's not good that Kitty ate that vomit! At most, I would expect that eating this vomit could cause some GI upset, causing her to vomit and/or have diarrhea. It's good that it doesn't look like she has eaten the plastic bag, and if she ate the bag, I would be concerned that the bag could cause a foreign body obstruction.
