My kitten is so hyper after spay surgery. How do I calm her?

I would recommend keeping her confined for at least the first 72 hours but it may need to be longer depending on how energetic she is. Making sure she stays quiet and is not allowed to jump up and down on furniture is paramount for at least the first week after surgery. The goal is no running, jumping or playing until this time. This is difficult with young kittens however. So do your best to limit her activities.
